Youth Specialist:   A Youth Specialist (YS) is a caring individual who wants to make a difference in the life of a child.  YS's are role-models and mentors who are responsible for teaching needed life-skills to troubled and troubling children.  YS's are creative and innovative individuals, who have the opportunity to help design and instruct a variety of activities.  YS's go through the day with our kids; YS's are not only ready to have fun, but are prepared and skilled at lending a helping hand. 

Qualifications: 

• Must be 21 years of age; 
• have a high school diploma or equivalent;
• possess a valid driver's license; and,
• current childcare clearances (FBI/CIB check) 

Teacher Counselors:   Teacher-Counselors are an integral part of the agency's caring environment.  Teacher-Counselors help develop, implement and monitor our agency's programming.  The Teacher Counselor links each child's Treatment Plan into the daily schedule; monitoring children's goal attainment and providing direct treatment. 

Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age;
• Bachelor's Degree in a human services related field;
• 1 year professional experience in child/family work; and,
• current childcare clearances (FBI/CIB check)
